Sarah's a 13 y.o. Border Collie (75%) / Blue Healer (25%) mix named for the jazz singer Sarah Vaughn. Her daddy was a working cattle dog in Missouri as are many of her brothers and sisters. Since we don't have livestock, her job is to play fetch with anything she can convince us to throw. Her favorite is Kong (above).

Border Collies have many defining characteristics but three of the best are a strong will to work, a desire to please, and intelligence. All qualities that I try to incorporate into the work I do.

The other part of the BauWau name comes from the revolutionary BauHaus art and design school in Europe in the early part of the 20th century. The Bauhaus brought painting, architecture, theater, photography, weaving, and typography into modern synthesis. The big bang that set modern design in motion.
